The next run of Moonlight Cinema screenings tie in nicely to the Oscar furore, so you can sit there cheering for Team Leo or Team Fassbender, as is your wont.
The focus of the February lineup is very much on Oscar-bait, so you’ll be able to watch Michael Fassbender growl and grump his way throughSteve Jobs, Leonardo DiCaprio fight off a bear in The Revenant, and Saoirse Ronan come to terms with the nebulous question of cultural identity inBrooklyn.
That said, it’s a pretty special experience to sit in Centennial Park with the bats overhead and a drink in your hand regardless of what film is playing, so even those who aren’t already drafting up their Oscars Bingo chart would do well to think about tickets.
