Celebrating its 50th year, the National Folk Festival has unveiled its first round of artist announcements for Easter 2016.
Featuring more than 1,200 artists spread over five folk-packed days, the first round of artists to be announced include:

The East Pointers
The Company
Jacinta Price
Andrew Winton
The Mae Trio
“We have a very special program planned for The 50th National Folk Festival and the 2016 Festival will be like no other,” says festival director Pam Merrigan.
The National Folk Festivalis held at Exhibition Park, Canberra, from Thursday March 24 to Monday March 28.
