The good people of Twitter have been temporarily relieved from the dogshit thoughts of notorious flop Pauline Hanson. Hanson was locked out of her Twitter account by Twitter officials over a violation of the terms & services of the website.
Hanson breached the terms & services after she uploaded a video that saw her suggest cattle prods be used to move along peaceful protesters. The video saw Hanson clad in an Akubra —for some explained reason— walking through a cattle station with a prod in hand. The bizarre film looks like a deleted scene from Twin Peaks: The Return.
In the video, Hanson condemned protesters who had taken to the streets of Queensland to protest pressing environmental issues such as the Adani coal mine and climate change.
“When the farmers have trouble getting the cattle up off the floor of the trucks, or in the cattle yards, they just touch them with this and they’ll soon move; it doesn’t matter how big the beast are, they will move with this,” she said in the video, which you can watch below.
In typical Pauline fashion, the senator failed to understand why it was inappropriate to suggest we should prod those trying to save the planet.
“I don’t see how my tweet was somehow offensive and potentially harmful, if those tweets wishing I’d fall of Uluru are not,” she shared in a statement following the ban.
Whilst, unfortunately, this ban is only a temporary respite, we can all take solace in the knowledge that it has probably pissed off Pauline Hanson to an excruciating degree.
Yesterday, Pauline Hanson truly put her basic lack of humanity on display after she met with 15 members of the Anangu Mayatja Council of Elders to discuss her calls to keep Uluru open to climbers, before attempting to climb the sacred site herself.
In related news, back in May, a Pauline Hanson stan account unearthed a series of racist and homophobic tweets by NOVA radio host Smallzy. You can read more about that here.
