Two former child stars from noughties classic School of Rock are now an IRL couple and look, fans are kind of freaking out.
Yep, it turns out Angelo Massagli, who played Frankie the “tough guy” and Caitlin Hale, who played Marta A.K.A “blondie” have found love some 18 years later.
Although the pair have made no secret of their long term relationship on social media, it had stayed mostly under the radar until a recent viral TikTok video.
“FRANKIE AND MARTA FROM SCHOOL OF ROCK ARE A COUPLE?” TikTok user @marfymae wrote, alongside a montage of then-and-now photos of the duo.
@marfymaeBeen on a massive IG scroll wbu #schoolofrock #netflix #jackblack #film #teacherspet #O2HereComesBrighter #HAIRFOODHYPE♬ School of Rock (Teacher’s Pet) – The Original Broadway Cast Of School Of Rock
The video has amassed over 300k likes within just a few days, proving this is the feel-good story we were all craving.
Although it’s not yet clear whether the pair stayed in regular contact after meeting on the set or if they reconnected later in life, we know we’re pretty desperate for more deets on this wholesome union.
While Massagli and Hale both appear to have retired from acting, we also wouldn’t be mad if all the recent publicity led to a long-awaited sequel. Can someone give Jack Black a call?
