Guzman y Gomez has just announced a taco that harks back the glory days of family dinners in front of the tele watching the golden era of Australian Idol. The best part is, it’s a mere $3.

The $3 taco is a minimalist delight. Mama Flore’s premium mince is nestled on a bed of fresh iceberg lettuce, shredded Jack cheese and an irresistible Chipotle-seasoned hard-shell tortilla.

The chain is pushing towards cleaner eating. So these bad boys have no added preservatives, artificial colours, flavours or other undesirable additives. So if you were feeling guilty about indulging in another takeout meal whilst a bouquet of kale wilts sadly at the bottom of your fridge — don’t!

The $3 Taco will be available at all restaurants across the country in store for drive-thru or takeaway or if you’re feeling like the ultimate homebody GYG app.

If you’re more of a burrito kinda guy, Mad Mex just announced that from now until Sunday, April 26th, they’re scrapping delivery fees and guacamole is free. You can find out more here.
