Vegans rejoice! The people behind Alfie’s Kitchen and Verd have come together to bring Sydneysiders a new plant-based restaurant.

Alfie’s Kitchen has been the talk of the town, showing up for short stints at Sadhana Kitchen, The Midnight Special, Mecca and Rolling Penny, and now has a permanent place at Paperbark in Waterloo!

Their website describes them as “a plant-based restaurant working with native Australian ingredients focused on showcasing small-scale producers and minimum intervention wine.”

Their menu features an amazing array of vegan treats, which will convert even your most meat-loving pals. It includes dishes like salt bush grissini and eggplant puree, rhubarb with lemon myrtle mousse and berries, and roasted cauliflower with radicchio and broad bean shoots. But enough from me: I’ll let the pictures do the talking.
