In collaboration with the award-winning Sydney Restaurant Automata and The Old Clare Hotel, Carriageworks and the Sydney Architectural Festival have teamed up to create The Architecture Lunch event for the 2016 festival.
The event will consist of guided architectural tours of two significant industrial buildings – Carriageworks and The Old Clare Hotel, which will explore the history of its creative development and architectural reinvention.
Speakers of the site-seeing and fine-dining event will include Tim Greer – Director of Zulaikha Greer Architects, Lisa Havilah – Director of Carriageworks and Tim Bures – General Manager of The Old Clare Hotel.
Attendees will be treated to a five-course meal, complemented with wine at the award-winning restaurant Automata.
The event will be on Saturday 1 October, 10am to 3:30pm. Tickets cost $220.
