Sydneysiders with a penchant for murderous children’s games can rejoice in the knowledge that the sinister, bloodthirsty doll from Squid Game has popped up in The Rocks.

Netflix unveiled the three-tonne, 4.5 meter-tall recreation of the doll, who appeared in the first episode of Squid Game, ‘Red Light, Green Light’, earlier today. The doll will stay in The Rocks until November 1st.

Oh, and, the creepy bitch is fully operational — sans the bloody murder — with a rotating head, and glowing red eyes. Vaccinated fans of the show will be able to flock to the rocks to play a game of red light green light.

Anyone visiting the pop-up must check-in using the QR code and present proof of vaccination. Social distancing rules apply with a one-person per two square metres rule in place at all times. Netflix has requested that participants play safe and not run.

Earlier this week, Funko Pops announced that it would be releasing a range of Squid Game figurines. You won’t be able to get your hands on the figurines for a while, with the Funko Pops set to debut in May, 2022. They can, however, be pre-ordered now ahead of time for $11.99 each.

In the meantime, read our theories as to where we think Squid Game may go with a potential second season.
