We’re all sick of COVID-19, that’s for sure and certain. We’ve wished it would go away, hoped, begged, and now The Walking Dead producer Greg Nicotero has taken to trying to scare the virus away.

What would stop you in your tracks when thinking about entering someones house? Does a warning sign of a vicious dog make you second guess entering? Maybe a locked gate is enough to drive you away? Well, if none of those are warning you to not approach someones house, maybe zombie heads affixed to the gate will.

Producer Greg Nicotero of AMC’s post-apocalyptic horror show The Walking Dead has taken to using props from the terrifying series in hopes that it’ll frighten the virus away.

Posting to Instagram, the executive producer and special make-up effects supervisor showed us a glimpse of what he’s had in the works, stating: “Decorating the gate at my house! Sure to scare any virus away.”

Check out The Walking Dead producer’s Instagram post:

The terrifying heads affixed to his front gate are none-other than previous props used on the ever-popular show, as Nicotero even pointed out which characters the heads are:

“And, if you’re curious, 1.Alpha 2.Bicycle Girl 3.Female walker Carl killed in the farmhouse in ep 301 AND one of the Governor’s fish tank heads. 4.Michonne pet 1 5.Ben Gardner Governor fish tank head 6.Michonne pet number 2.”

Now, I’m no expert on how the virus spreads, but if I were a virus, (or a virus carrier, for that matter), I’d be certainly steering right clear of Nicotero’s gate.
