Allen’s have developed a new version of their beloved Frogs Alive lolly for the demographic of people that used to put batteries on their tongue as children.
The new Allen’s Sourz Frogs Alive are a puckering take on the classic frog. Taking inspiration from the previously released remixes on their Sourz Tangy Randoms and Sourz Snakes Alive, the beloved red frog now comes embellished in a cloak of that mysterious, granular acidity that hits all our depraved cravings.
“We know how much Aussies love Allen’s Frogs Alive and that sour lollies are a trending flavour profile among lolly lovers. We thought we’d combine the two and create something we know our customers will love,” the brand shared in a statement.
Allen’s Sourz Frogs Alive will be available in Woolworths from 17 February, Coles and Independent stores from March 1st. They’ll set you back a cool $2.95.
In other “cult snacks experimenting with flavour” news, Pringles recently announced that two new international-travel inspired flavours will join their repertoire. Joining the tubed crisp ranks are New York Style Cheeseburger and Sichuan Style Kung Pao Chicken reimaginations of the chips.
The Pringles Passport series is available in Coles from right now, whilst Woolies and other independent retailers will take you around the world in 80 crisps from February 22nd.
