Aussie comedian Christian Hull will be performing two shows at the Brisbane Comedy Festival, and you can get your hands on tickets now.
After wrapping up a 10-night run at the Comic’s Lounge as part of Melbourne International Comedy Festival in April, Christian Hull is now set to hit the stage in Brisbane, bringing you two nights of deep down belly-laughs as part of the Brisbane Comedy Festival.
One of Australia’s comedy heavyweights, Hull has built a massive audience from documenting his mess of a life on social media and on his successful podcast, Complete Drivel. His hilarious characters, parenting parodies, paint guessing, and T-shirt folding escapades have earned him an ever-expanding army of over two and a half million online followers.
This year sees him take on his stand-up debut, but we have no doubt he’ll be a standout at the festival – his debut memoir, Leave Me Alone, hit the number one position on Booktopia before it was even released in March. So if Christian Hull debuts are anything to go by, sign us up for this one!
Described as a “flagrantly frank, frighteningly honest and disarmingly hilarious tell-all comedy show”, Christian Hull is a disaster. Just kidding. But that’s how he explains the show himself!
“He is afraid of the outdoors and almost everything else. This show is about those times he has had to fend for himself and it’s almost definitely ended in near death experiences.
“From his horrific fear of flying to shitting himself often, mostly in public. You’ll leave wondering how on earth he has managed to keep himself alive for so long.”
Performing Saturday and Sunday shows at Brisbane Powerhouse, Hull is setting you up for a weekend of comedy goodness. So block out Saturday July 31st and Sunday August 1st on your calendar, you don’t want to miss this.
