The stars of Netflix’s Tiger King documentary are popping up everywhere, and now Joe Exotic’s ex-husband has been tapped for a new Australian podcast.

John Finlay has been confirmed as a guest for NOVA Entertainment’s new Quizicle All-Stars Podcast, with the radio network also announcing that members of The Chaser, and comedians Tom Gleeson and Marty Sheargold will also appear.

The play along at home pod quiz is a short form, timed quiz and allows listeners to pit their knowledge of sports, general knowledge, music and more against a range of celebrities.

Quizicle is hosted by Aussie comedian Lindsay Webb, while others announced to feature as guests on the pod include NRL legend Wally Lewis, SBS presenter Marc Fennell, Cameron Daddo, Home & Away actors, and stars of Aussie reality TV shows The Bachelorette, Amazing Race Australia and Love Island.

Sadly the Tiger King star isn’t quizzed on sport or music, because honestly, that would have been amazing, but instead he gets to answer questions in the general knowledge category.

The sheer popularity of the Tiger King documentary worldwide was laid bare this week, as Netflix announced that its subscriber base grew by 15 million globally over the past three months.

With Tiger King content popping up everywhere, news recently dropped that Joe Exotic has reportedly been offered his own radio show, and that the US station interested would be willing to set him up a studio within prison to broadcast from.

Since the sensational show first aired, Joe Exotic’s niece has claimed it missed several of his misdemeanours, and that her uncle was actually 100 times worse in real life.

Quizicle All-Stars is now available on Novafm, the Nova app, Acast, Apple or wherever you get your podcasts.
