Sometimes a viral video comes along so unfathomably unbelievable that it stays in your mind for days and trust me, you might struggle to get to sleep tonight after seeing this TikTok.

A group of Melbourne housemates received a terrifying surprise when they decided to explore the attic of their Fitzroy house. They only did so after a previous tenant who happened to be walking past the house told them there was “something up in the roof” and don’t they know that has all the makings of a horror B-movie?

The attic contained a creepy stalker shrine against one wall, featuring very old clothes, footy boots, suspect film photos. Even worse than that, there were several zip lock bags containing the likes of used bandaids, blood, and some lurid yellow liquid. Like I said, sleep might be an issue after discovering this TikTok.

Matt Martin (@mattmartin85), whose girlfriend lives in the house, shared the footage to TikTok. In the second of two videos, he explained that they contacted the landlord to enquire about removing the awful shrine, they met with no luck. “They said don’t worry about moving it,” Martin said. “I don’t think they’ve actually seen all the stuff.”

There was no luck to be found when they contacted the police either, with cops reportedly informing them “if there’s no body parts don’t worry about it.” “I think one of us is going to have to do the dirty work and get it all down and throw it all out to make sure it’s all gone,” Martin said. The group are planning to do a house cleanse but if it was me, I’d be moving out of Fitzroy as fast as my legs could take me.

The creepy clip brings to mind that famous TikTok from last year in which the woman found another entire apartment lurking behind the walls of her New York City apartment. You know the one – it’s the TikTok that probably put you off the idea of ever renting in NYC.
