It’s official, Trump has officially left the White House forever, and boy are artists and actors everywhere stoked going off their reactions.
The last four years of having Trump as U.S. president has been something of an exhausting odyssey that’s been filled with an exhausting amount of Twitter, impeachments, and an explosion of a new branch of anti-Trump comedy.
But the day that everyone has been waiting for ever since Trump lost the election is finally here: Joe Biden has now officially been sworn in as the 46th President of the United States (as per ABC News).
All eyes were on Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris as the duo were inaugurated in a stripped down ceremony due to the pandemic and security concerns following the Capitol Hill riots that occurred on January 6th.
With former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton in attendance (Trump opted not to be there, which is the first time ever a former president didn’t rock up to their successor’s inauguration ceremony), Harris made history by being the first ever Black and Asian-American person to be Vice President before Biden delivered a rousing inauguration speech about unity that captured everyone’s attention.
Folks in the music and entertainment world were absolutely stoked to finally have Biden and Harris at America’s helm, and they didn’t hold back with their reactions on social media:

We are going to be okay. From the wreckage there will be renewal, from the wounds will grow compassion and character, from the division will come clarity, from the despair will come wisdom, from the loss will come community.

Kamala Harris becomes the first female VP in US history today. It’s only been 100 years since we’ve been allowed to vote. It’s been 49 years since we have been granted equal rights. And just in the last years women have been telling their truths and standing strong together.

As for how folks in the music and entertainment world felt about Trump leaving the White House with his tail between his legs and jetting off to Florida, the overall mood from everyone’s reactions was pretty, uh, jubilant shall we say.
While most were super happy with Biden and Harris, it seemed like some musicians and actors were even more stoked that Trump is finally gone.

He is finally gone. The nightmare has come to its fitful end. A bunch of trump elite criminals pardoned in the shroud of night. The Golden Toilet Presidency is over. A turd is a turd no matter where it lays.

Learning HOW to think (as opposed to learning what to think) is a true feeling of emancipation from the constraints of indoctrination that are so commonplace in our society. “Emancipation Of The Mind” is an outtake from ‘Age Of Unreason’ – https://t.co/WSShfRG6xG pic.twitter.com/Ef5h9TXG0S

Yes and no. I think it's more like taking an awful, head spinning, brutal shit and looking in the bowl and saying, "Where the fuck did that come from? AND WHY IS IT ORANGE!?!" https://t.co/EfSrW41FF1
