If you’ve ever looked at a ya morning bowl of corn flakes and thought, “this, but a beer”, then you’re in luck. Botany brewery One Drop Brewing Co has just dropped a cracking collaboration with Kelloggs. Together, they’ve found a way to incorporate this nation’s favourite golden corn-based breakfast cereal with the sensation of cracking open a cold one.

The Corn Flakes Nitro Milkshake IPA promises “a true milkshake with copious amounts of famous Kellogg’s Corn Flakes added into our mash tun, with milky lactose, sweet fruits, and rich vanilla. Sabro, Citra and Simcoe add just the right slice of hoppiness without distraction from the huge hits of ripe strawberry, passionfruit, coconut and mango.”

If you’re a Sydneysider, head down to the One Drop Taproom and treat yourself to a schooner of this breakfast beast. Otherwise, you can cop it online here.

This isn’t the first time an Australian breakfast favourite has been reimagined as alcohol. Earlier this year, gin overlords Archie Rose struck gold when they decided to distil a gin infused with the aroma of a freshly buttered piece of vegemite toast.

Never in our lives did we anticipate the grog business to become to culinary ambitious, but we’re here for it.
