Everyone’s favourite Americana perch The Shady Pines Saloon is putting the rhythm back in blues with Leroy’s Layabouts.

The Layabouts were one of the city’s most popular jump blues bands in the 1970s and ’80s, introducing Sydney to the exciting era of pre-rock’n’roll, sax-based music. With a revised name and a brand new album, Smokin, the six-piece will grace Shady Pines with a solid dose of no-nonsense, upbeat blues.

Get to The Shady Pines Saloon for a free show on Saturday 28 June, kicking off at 6pm.
