Rock and jazz legends Blood, Sweat and Tears are bringing their brilliant musical compositions to Australia.

Having formed in New York City in 1967; Blood, Sweat and Tears are iconic for being the first group to successfully combine rock, jazz and soul into a genre-crossing sound that has awed many listeners. They have popularised creations by the Rolling Stones, Billie Holiday, Laura Nyro, James Taylor and Erik Satie and sold out concert tours around the world.

More than 150 musicians have played in Blood, Sweat and Tears over the decades, which include reputable musicians such as Al Kooper, Randy Becker, Steve Katz, Mike Stern, Joe Henderson and more, and the band is currently fronted by Bo Bice. Their best-known songs include You’ve Made Me So Very Happy, Spinning Wheel, And When I Die, Hi-Do-Ho That Old Sweet Rolland Lucretia Mac Evil. They’ll be replaying these classics on their Australia tour.

Blood, Sweat and Tears will be playing at the Penrith Panthers on Saturday March 18; tickets available via this number: (02) 4720 5555. They’ll also rock the Revesby Workers Club on Saturday March 25; tickets available via this number: (02) 9772 2100.
