McDonald’s are introducing a couple of game-changing treats to their menu from tomorrow. Including a new McFlurry featuring the GOAT chocolate bar, the KitKat.

I’m the first to contest cold chocolate, that shit needs to be consumed at room-to-melting-point temperature. I can, however, make excuses for creations as divine as this. The KitKat McFlurry — which’ll set ya back $5.40 — is nothing short of an architectural triumph. Comprised of Maccas unbeatable ice cream with crushed-up chunks of KitKat swirled throughout and a topping of that insanely rich hot chocolate fudge sauce. I’m already envisioning myself drunkenly staining my bed linen with its godly dew.

If that wasn’t enough glory for you, Maccas are also introducing a KitKat Frappé. A beverage that harks back to the glory days where the only café we knew was Gloria Jeans and the only drink that mattered was a Tim Tam slam. The frappé is a chocolate, icy concoction made with whipped cream and crumbled bits of KitKat. Pure vibes.

In these truly insane, soul-crushing times the least we can do for ourselves and our sanity is allow a little joy into our lives in the form of a frozen dessert. If you’re feeling a little lowly I can not stress the healing power of UberEats-ing a sinful dessert to the comfort of your home and doing a back-to-back viewing of the Bridget Jones saga.

These new delicacies will be available from tomorrow until the beginning of September.

It’s been a big day for fast food, earlier today the peri-peri chicken lords at Nandos announced an all-new plant-based range for all you herbivores with a penchant for fast food.
