Internationally renowned artist Simryn Gill is headed for Sydney for the Australian premier of her pivotal installation Let Them Eat Potatoes.
Let Them Eat Potatoesis a suite of over 400 unique prints made using an exclusive range of inks created by Louis Vuitton, and about 40 varieties of potatooes purchased from a host of German markets.
Interestingly, Gill employs the age-old technique of potato printing as a motif, the cross-section of the humble potato providing unique impressions and qualities in her work.
