For those beer and Pink Floyd fans out there, Young Henrys’ new limited time ‘Dark Sour of the Moon’ tinnie is just for you.

The team here at The Brag are big fans of anything and everything Young Henrys, and their latest beer offering may be my favourite yet.

Called the ‘Dark Sour of the Moon’ (I see what they did there), this new limited edition tinnie is the latest beer what Young Henrys calls their ‘B-Side’ range.

For those wondering what this ‘B-Side’ range is, it is the special selection of beers that Young Henrys describes as the “alternative tracks to our hit singles” in which the brewers are given the opportunity to experiment and get weird with beer flavours.

With this specific Pink Floyd inspired tinnie, brewer Neal Lucas says he really wanted make a beer that stands out from the typical kettle sour.

“In the style of the Belgian Oud Bruin, the beer presents a malty aromatic Belgian brown ale with a smashable blueberry tartness. A rarely seen style in Australia suitable for any kind of day,” said Neal.

Okay, that sounds delicious and refreshing, which is perfect since the weather is heating up.

‘Dark Sour of the Moon’ is particularly notable for being the first B-Side to be released in cans, following in the lead of Young Henrys’ decision to sell its core range of beer in tinnies back in 2016.

So if you’re keen to sip on a tinnie this weekend while vibing out to some nice tunes (like Pink Floyd’s Dark Side Of The Moon), then you might as well get your hands on some ‘Dark Sour of the Moon’ at select bottleos, the online store or the Young Henrys Tasting Bar.

Don’t wait too long though as this B-Side is only available for a limited time and you don’t want to miss out. As the saying goes, ‘Time’ is of the essence or something.
