Your breakfast can finally be dessert and vice versa thanks to a stunning new collaboration between Coco Pops and Golden Gaytime.

Two of the biggest names in cereal and ice cream, coming together. This really is a game-changer. As per Smooth, Coco Pops and Golden Gaytime have joined as one to create two delicious new products to help us all through the summer.

First, Coco Pops Golden Gaytime flavoured cereal is set to be available in supermarkets next week, on February 22nd. It might not be the healthiest start to the day but it definitely will be the tastiest.

Then on March 1st, Golden Gaytime Coco Pops flavoured ice cream (reduced fat) will be on supermarket shelves (and in select convenience stores from March 15th).

Samantha Jarmul, the brand manager for Streets, was certainly not mincing her words, calling it “the biggest collab ever to exist.”

“We know it’s hard to have a Gaytime on your own, so we’ve paired together the crumbly-goodness of our Gaytime, with the iconic Coco Pops flavour, to create both a cereal and ice-cream you can have on your own, with a mate, or with the whole gang,” she explained.

Kellogg’s Senior Marketing Lead, Dan Bitti, revealed his excitement about trying the new products: ”We’re ecstatic to have the two cultural icons of Kellogg’s Coco Pops and Street’s Golden Gaytime come together for the first time.”

The news has already enticed many online, with commenters sharing their thoughts on the news. “I thought the Gaytime Cornetto was heaven but this … this will require a new secret freezer away from the kids. LOL,” said one critic on Facebook.

“Where was this when we were kids?” another agreed, highlighting just how bold and innovative this mash-up is.

It’s not the first limited-edition Golden Gaytime mash-ups though. Past ones have included Salty Golden Gaytime, the Gaytime Cornetto, and Unicorn and Christmas Gaytimes, if anyone remembers them.
