We’re giving away 10x class packs to Quro Health Studios. The Broadway-based studio offers reformer pilates, Zumba and Yoga seven days a week.

To win one of two 10x class passes, let us know in 25 words or less, what your favourite go-to reward is after exercise and why.

The Competition is now Closed

I am not going to subject you to a spiel about how summer is just around the corner and it’s beach body season. I think that kind of diatribe is a loaded sack of shit. Exercise is good and necessary because it makes you feel better.

I’ve done every kind of exercise under the sun and there is nothing that gives me that mind-body harmony quite like a good yoga session.

Yeah, there’s a stigma surrounding annoying yoga people that swear that your life will change once you start practising. I am a bigger cynic than most. But I’m swallowing my pride and putting my irony-poisoned disposition aside when I say that yoga and pilates fucks up your life in the best way possible.

The physical benefits of practising yoga and pilates have been second-to-none. Chronic back pain? barely knew her. Neck strain from spending my life hunched over my computer? someone from a past life.

In addition to feeling the physical equivalent of a Bega Stringer, practising yoga has done a fair bit of good for my mental health. The restorative powers of getting off your phone and focusing on your breathing whilst moving your body can not be understated. Post-yoga-glow is, unfortunately, a real thing.

If you’re more into exercise sans spiritual alignment, maybe pilates is the go for you. It is, in my opinion, the hardest form of exercise. Though the results are worth it because you truly do feel yourself going beast mode.

If you’re curious about both, you’re in luck. We have two 10 class pass packs to Quro Health Studios to give away. Quro Health Studios is the antithesis to all the jacked-up gyms that blast 120bpm remixes of Vanessa Amorosi songs. It’s a workout sanctuary dedicated to building a non-judgemental environment.

Competition runs from September 21 2020 12pm AEST to November 30 2020 12pm AEST. Only Australian residents are eligible.
