Details around the upcoming Star Wars TV series The Mandalorian have been minimal, but as the shows 2019 premiere nears we’re starting to learn more about the upcoming show and it’s cast. Nick Nolte is the latest name to join the show set to appear on Disney’s streaming service.

Disney’s streaming platform Disney+ is set to debut in the new year and The Mandalorian is one of many films and series set to premiere there exclusively. Other projects confirmed for the streaming service include a High Fidelity adaptation starring Zoë Kravitz and a live action remake of The Lady And The Tramp.

Nick Nolte is the third confirmed cast member for the Jon Favreau written show. Consequence Of Sound reports the multiple Academy Award nominee will join the already announced Pedro Pascal from Game Of Thrones, and Gina Corano in the new series.

Whilst details are still scarce an image posted to Favreau’s Instagram does share some insight as to what we can expect the show to be about. The premiere date for The Mandalorian hasn’t been set, but it’s rumoured that Disney have given Favreau a $100 million budget for it.
