MAFS star Tamara Djordjevic has gone on a huge rant about the show while discussing not attending the Logie Awards.
The 2022 Logies were held in Queensland last night, but just seven of the 22 contestants on last season’s MAFS were invited to attend. Domenica Calarco, Ella Ding, Brent Vitiello, Al Perkins, Jack Millar, Selina Chhaur and Dion Giannarelli were all given invites to the prestigious event, with the likes of Olivia Frazer, her partner Jackson Lonie, and Tamara missing out.
Not that Tamara is bitter or anything. She took to Instagram Story yesterday to address not going to the Logies and pretty soon she was really laying into MAFS.
“I can tell you right now, I would not go to the Logies to support Married at First Sight,” she insisted. “I think it’s disgusting, I think that television show should be pulled off air, or at least made dramatic changes before someone takes their own life.”
Tamara continued by explaining why she was making such a “big statement.” “The manipulation, even after the television show, of ‘you’ll get this, you’ll get that… we’ll give you this endorsement’,” she revealed. “People just either forget, or they don’t give a sh*t because they want clout, fame, whatever it may be, so they’re like ‘yay, go MAFS, vote MAFS‘. It’s just really sickening to me, and disappointing.”
She’s not the only snubbed MAFS star to insist they didn’t care about attending this year’s Logies. Despite reportedly going so far as to contact Channel Nine executives in a desperate bid to obtain an invite, Olivia recently said she wasn’t fussed at all about missing out on the Logies.
“No, we didn’t get invited to the Logies, but I’d rather experience various forms of torture,” she told So Dramatic!. “[We] couldn’t give two sh*ts.”

Supporting MAFS was also supposedly not something on her schedule. “I’d rather honestly stay home and pluck my fingernails off one by one than attend the Logies to support Married at First Sight,” she explained.
MAFS was nominated for Most Popular Reality Program at the Logies, but lost out to I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! (see full results here).
